Virtual Internship with Zebra Technologies

During my second year (first semester) at university, I had the oppotunity to complete a virtual internship with Zebra Technologies. As well as learning about the company, job roles such as User Experience (UX) design, software development and product design were explored.

As part of the internship, I needed to complete a project in one of the areas. I chose UX design as I didn't know what the role was about or the main tasks completed on the job. I independently learned (through resources and research) about UX design and why certain tasks are done.

Understanding UX design has given me more appreciation for web/UX designers as a software developer, especially for front-end web development.
